HOW TO APPROACH A SHY GUY

If you are interested in a shy guy you will have to understand their weakness and work with it. Shy guys will never approach you with their feelings, they won抰 flirt with you and they certainly won抰 be directly initiating the first date. But all this is true only when he is not sure of your interest in him, once you get close these inhibitions will drop away and he will get comfortable.

The initial phase of getting the date going, and expressing your feelings, is what needs to be taken care of. 10 SIGNS A MAN IS IN LOVE WITH YOU

Not all men exhibit the same signs when they are in love with a girl. The signs men give when they are in love differs depending on their conditioning and nature. There are absolutely no generalizations about signals that suggest a man is in love. It抯 easy to predict when a teenager is in love but it is more difficult with men because they are more conservative, or confused, about expressing their emotions. So here are some generic signs a man is in love with you.
Top Signs a Guy is in Love

Listed below are 10 signs a man is in love. These are signs that are apparent in most guys who are in love with a girl. No one guy is bound to exhibit all the signs, but you can find one or more signs in his behavior. As a girl, you should not take these signs on their face value and assume that the guy is in love with you. If he exhibits these signals it just means that there is higher probability that he is in love with you.

1.) He behaves shy around you
He might be an extrovert of the highest nature but he behaves shy when he抯 talking to you. This can be taken as definite sign that the man is in love and that you hold a special place in his heart.

2.) He calls you on some pretext or the other
If it becomes obvious that he called you for no specific reason but just to talk to you, though he cites some made up reason, then you can sure that he is interested in you. He might even send messages or emails specifically with the intention of initiating contact.

3.) He tries to make eye contact with you ever so often
Whenever you are around he tries to make eye contact with you. Whenever you look at him you see him looking at you either directly or overtly. These are obvious signs that he has a crush on you.

4.) He has a different body language when you are around
You can see an apparent change in his body language when he sees you around. He might unconsciously touch up his face or hair, he might adjust his tie or play with his collar. This would indicate a rush of adrenaline in him whenever you are around, definite sign that a man is in love.

5.) He blushes when you pay him a compliment
People tend to blush when complimented so this is not an obvious sign but if you detect that he blushes specifically around you rather than with others then it would be indicate that he has special feelings for you. This may not be true for all men but a good majority of them.

6.) He stammers while talking to you
When a man is in love and is infatuated with a girl he gets tongue tied while talking to her. This is natural and can be taken as a definite sign that a guy likes a girl in a special way. Though the guy might actually feel miserable about stammering, it looks pretty cute from the girl抯 perspective.

7.) He tries to help you with your work
If you see that a guy is making an effort to help you specifically, it would indicate that he is interested in you. He might help you with your office work or may offer to drop you home or pick you up for work, stuff like that. These are signs that a man is in love.

8.) He remembers your birthday
Most men are not good at remembering dates. If he remembers your birthday you can take it as a strong sign of his interest in you. In all likelihood he will get you a birthday gift too.

9.) He gives you preferential treatment
If there are a few girls in your group, or office circle, and you find that he gives preferential treatment to you alone then it would indicate his interest. You might see him smiling at you specifically or he might get you coffee out of his own interest, stuff like that.

10.) He starts improving his personal appearance
If a man is in love, he transforms his external appearance hairstyle, dressing sense et al in a short period of time after you came around in his vicinity, it would indicate that he is trying to impress you. Priming up is a definite sign that a man is in love.

So these are top signs a man is in love with you; remember not to generalize though. You can stay comforted in the knowledge

5TYPES OF RELATIONSHIP YOU SHOULD AVOID

Love is hard to find. Some people wait years to find it while others never find it at all. Once you've found someone you love, it may be tempting to hold on to them with everything you've got, but it's important to remember that not every type of love leads to a happy, healthy relationship. Love should make you the best version of yourself. It should include more highs than lows.

Unfortunately, more often than not, being in love can bring out your worst qualities, fears, and insecurities, especially when you're intimate with someone who's dealing with their own baggage.

One survey by YourTango found that 89% of people think that half or more of all people have toxic relationships in their lives. These toxic relationships can be hard to spot as often they come in pretty packages that seem wonderful on the outside but are full of issues and hurt under the surface. Not sure where your relationship falls on the spectrum? Skim through these top five relationships to avoid.

1. PASSION OVERLOAD
A romantic relationship would just be a close friendship without passion. This fiery quality plays an important role in love. It's what makes you care so deeply, love like crazy, and do things you normally wouldn't do. While passion is a necessary ingredient in a relationship, too much of it can quickly lead to a toxic, unhealthy relationship. Passion is pure emotion, so when there's too much passion you may experience high levels of jealousy or big blow out fights. As any couple knows, jealousy and fighting is natural, but overly passionate relationships will experience these qualities to the point that they begin to take over and counteract any good in a relationship.

2. CONVENIENT COMFORT
These relationships are like your favorite pair of sweatpants. They are familiar, comfortable, and make you feel warm and safe. Like a comfortable, convenient relationship that's hard to leave, it can be hard to pull off those cozy, fleece-lined sweatpants and squeeze into a stiff pair of jeans. Single life can be rough, making that comfortable relationship all the more appealing. The problem is that comfort doesn't equal happiness. These convenient relationships just hold you back from finding true happiness and love.

3. OVERLY CONTROLLED
It's natural to care about someone and want what's best for them, but it's quite another thing to attempt to control their every move. Relationships that revolve around one person's control over the other are dangerous. If you don't feel free to be yourself, make your own choices, and decide things for yourself, you may be in an unhealthy, controlling relationship. Maintaining these relationships can hinder your personal growth and may even manipulate you into thinking you're happy when you're not.

4.lLIES, LIES, LIES
Trust is the foundation of a healthy relationship, so when a relationship is built on lies, it's practically impossible to operate as a healthy, functioning couple. Lying may seem harmless at first. Perhaps it's just an omission of information or a small, white lie that you say to avoid hurting your partner's feelings. However, no matter how small, lying is a slippery slope. It may seem harmless, but once it's you start, it will becomes easier and easier to for the lies to slip out creating a relationship built around them.

5. BEING WITH THE BULLY
Are you in a relationship where one person has significantly more power and control than the other person? If so, chances are high that you're in an abusive relationship. Whether physically, mentally, or emotionally operated, bullies function by maintaining enough power that their partner is afraid to challenge them. This relationship runs on fear and fear is the opposite of love. If you find yourself in this exhausting, hurtful relationship, you'll want to find a way out immediately.

WHAT EVERY WOMAN NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HER RELATIONSHIP

The fact that the young man has fallen in love with you does not mean he has become your burden bearer, whereby you have to transfer all your needs to him. It is saddening to hear ladies say they can't be with a man who cannot meet their needs. Please watch it, before you loose all your sense of value in the name of becoming a money bag. By this I do not mean men should not show support to their women, especially if they have the means, I just feel women should learn to be independent and have a sense of pride.

I know how cool and emotionally rewarding it is for a woman to have a man drooling over her, but please if you don't want this man to be anything more than a friend, stop making him work so hard at winning your heart. Most girls will say I have told him no, it's his choice to stay around and be buying all the gifts, haba, that is not fair. 'NO!!!' and 'no' although spelt the same way may not necessarily mean the same thing in non verbal expression. If you are really saying no, stop calling him for time out or recharge cards and stop encouraging him to keep buying you stuffs.
Why
Your boyfriend may be smart and highly logical, but if your opinion makes no sense to him at all the time, you may be too dumb to be his wife.

Being beautiful is a good thing, but it cannot make up for dull brains. You spouse will love to show you off, but you cannot keep him living in the fear of you opening your mouth to pass a comment in public. The mental status of a bus driver's wife and that of a business tycoon's wife should not read 'same'.

Nothing is completely useless in its original state. So any boyfriend who wants to change EVERYTHING (including faith, ideology, vision, purpose, friends, family members, job, passion) about you to meet his picture of an ideal spouse is trying to rob you of your personality, he or she neither loves you nor deserves to have you.

Ladies, there are some things you should not hope to sort out with prayers when you marry. One of those things is food. Economists say human beings are insatiable, but I say MEN are senior insatiable species especially when it comes to food.

No offense guys, but my dear sisters please don't be deceived, your chocolate, ice cream and meat pie loving guy also knows what most Nigerian soups tastes like. So take out the time to learn how to cook.

One of the biggest jokes in marriage is when a woman asks her husband, honey what would you like to take and he says something light. A smart woman will know that something light for most men is not indomie, beverage or cereal, he is simply asking for something out of the usual things you give him.

Another good joke is when you have your little fights. It is possible for a woman to be angry and not eat o, but some men? Lailai. You will cook, he will eat it and then the fight continues.

Most Men and food are an inseparable too. Every wise woman understands this and keeps working at it.

8 THINGS YOU MUST DO BEFORE GETTING MARRIED

When you get to a certain age, it may seem like everyone you know is getting married, buying a house, upgrading their beater cars to SUVs, having kids, and generally starting to live like an actual adult. Most of us naturally head in that direction at some point, but there is a small window of time when you have the freedom to truly explore life and passions. You may be unattached or in a serious relationship, but this personal exploratory time is crucial in ensuring you can settle down without any regrets.

Before you're strapped with a mortgage and a job that gives you 10 vacation days a year, take a moment to write out all the things you want to do while you're young and free. Create your own bucket list or adapt The Cheat Sheet's must-dos before you settle down to your own life.

1. LEARN TO COOK
Don't resign yourself to ramen noodles and mac 'n' cheese. Learning the basics of cooking is one of those things every man should know how to do. Not only does it make you more self-sufficient and independent, but there can be a certain sex appeal of men who know how to make a homemade marinara sauce or grill a fish perfectly. Even if you learn to cook solely for yourself, you'll avoid wasting money on eating out and avoid the weight gain and health problems that come from consuming giant restaurant portions packed with grease and calories.

2. TRAVEL (A LOT)
Nothing has the power to transform and educate you like travel. Traveling gets you out of your comfort zone and into the big, crazy world where people speak, look, dress, and act differently. It allows you to experience new things, meet new people, and get to know yourself better. Before you settle down, take the time and spend the money to travel either alone or with friends. Experience nightlife in Berlin, the food in Vietnam, and the culture of Argentina. The memories you make traveling will last you a lifetime and help shape your worldview, making you a more whole, educated person.

3. BECOME FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT
This means getting off the family phone plan, creating a financial budget, finding health insurance, and establishing an emergency fund. Recognize the difference between your needs and your wants, and learn how to regulate your wants so you can comfortably cover your needs, pay off any debt, and stow away some money for a rainy day. Understanding finances and the type of lifestyle you want to live is important to determine before you commit to another person or your own family.

4. FACE YOUR BIGGEST FEARS
Do you hate heights? Go skydiving. Scared of traveling alone? Book a ticket. Scared of asking that cute girl out? Walk over and say "hi." It will give you a great sense of accomplishment to acknowledge your fears, expose yourself to those fears, and practice courageous acts. If you are able to take steps (no matter how small) to face your fears you will benefit greatly. Not only will you see the areas in which you struggle but also you'll see yourself acknowledge those shortcomings and work to overcome them.

5. ACCOMPLISH A GOAL
There will be hundreds of goals, big and small, that show up in your life, but take the time before you settle down to set a meaningful goal and accomplish it. This may mean graduating college, starting your own business, or building a freelance career. Whatever it is, take the time, put in the effort, and pay the money to check that goal off the list. When you settle down, get a mortgage, and have kids, those goals may take a back seat to taking care of life's more pressing realities. Enjoy the freedom to pursue something completely for your own benefit.

6. GET FIT
This must-do is fairly self-explanatory, but its importance is not to be disregarded. Before you settle down and get caught up in career, family, and all the drama and stress that can entail, take time for your physical body. Give your body some love by eating food that fuels and nourishes it and participating in activities that make it stronger, leaner, and more flexible. When you eat right and exercise you will have more energy, avoid disease and illness, live longer, and enjoy a happier quality of life both physically and mentally. Your body is not easily replaced, so take the time to get to know what it likes and doesn't like. Eat things that make you feel good and do things that give you that rush of accomplishment and satisfaction.

7. GET TO KNOW YOURSELF
When you settle down your identity is often tied to another person, a job, or a hobby. Take this time to explore your inner self to find out who you are at your core. This is no easy task and there isn't usually a definitive answer, but it is something you should be aware of and take time to explore away from the distractions of routine, relationships, and daily life. Take time to discover new passions, let go of expectations, and be kind to yourself.

8. FIND OUT WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN
Many of us gloss this over for as long as we can, but spirituality and religion are something we should consider facing head on. Your personal set of ethics and beliefs dictates the way you live your life, and your relationship with religion and spirituality may impact how you view big, scary subjects like death, evil, and afterlife. Even if you were raised a certain way, take time to explore other worldviews and ways of living to determine what speaks to you.

WHY WE KISS WITH OUR EYES CLOSED- PSYCHOLOGIST REVEALS

It's agreed that one of the greatest mysteries of human psyche is, why do we close our eyes while sharing a kiss? Worry no more about why because the psychologists from Royal Holloway, University of London, simply say our brains the brain can't deal with more than two things at once and so, it has nothing to do with love, passion, or lust.

Closing our eyes when kissing isn't a sign that you're a hopeless romantic. Scientists have discovered that we close our eyes when kissing because our brains aren't able to process visual data at the same time as processing the physical sensations from our mouths.

Dr Sandra Murphy and Dr Polly Dalton asked volunteers to perform a letter search task of either low or high difficulty, as well as responding to the presence or absence of a brief vibration delivered simultaneously to either the left or the right hand. They found that sensitivity to the clearly noticeable touch was reduced when they carried out the more taxing visual search task.

Dr. Dalton said: "If we are focusing strongly on a visual task, this will reduce our awareness of stimuli in other senses. This could explain why we close our eyes when we want to focus attention on another sense. Shutting out the visual input leaves more mental resources to focus on other aspects of our experience."

5 WAYS TO REIGNITE PASSION IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP

As the season of love draws near, Purple counts down the top
5 ways to reignite passion in your relationship.
It's not uncommon for people to get comfortable and a little
lazy in relationships. But we don't want that to happen to you,
that's why we're giving you these five easy steps that will keep
the groove going in your relationship.

1. TAKE IT BACK TO THE BASICS
What attracted you to your boo, was it their sweet smile?
Their intelligence? Or just the way they carry themselves?
Remind yourself of the basics of your attraction towards your
partner, the little things about them that just make your heart
melt.

2. HAVE FUN TOGETHER
The best thing about FUN is that it can be FREE. You can have
it in the comfort of your own home; laughing generally makes
all of us feel good, now imagine how amazing you will feel
when you can laugh together with your partner. Having fun
together can also help you to relax and totally be yourself.

3. GO ON A DATE NIGHT
The more time you spend with your boo, the more moments
and memories you guys will share. Choose a day of the week
where you can go out (just the two of you) and treat
yourselves to something nice. This can be a movie, dinner or
anything that the both of you might enjoy. If you can afford it,
try going somewhere different every week or as often as you
can.

4. SEND EACH OTHER SWEET TEXTS MORE OFTEN
If your partner has a big day at school or at work, send them
messages throughout the day showing your support and care.
Now, don't flood their inbox and run the risk of annoying
them. Just send enough messages to show your support and
that you're thinking of them.

5. LOTS OF HUGS & KISSES (XOXO)
Showing your partner affection not only makes them feel good
about themselves but it will also make you smile. Hugs and
kisses will deepen your bond and if you do it often enough
(and enjoy it) the two of you may just be happy enough to
become inseparable.

7 WAYS TO GET HER TO LIKE YOU

You met an amazing girl. She's beautiful, funny, intelligent, and doesn't seem to be out-of-her-mind crazy. Obviously you want her to be into you, too. Nothing's worse than getting shoved into the friend zone or getting so nervous to impress that you scare her away indefinitely.

To make sure that doesn't happen, we reached out to dating experts to figure out what works (and what doesn't) when it comes to catching her attention. Here are seven surefire ways to nudge things along to a second date.

1. DIAL DOWN YOUR WALKING SPEED.
As you walk up to her (or with her), slow down your pace and slightly exaggerate your shoulder movements. It will make you look relaxed and in control. "She will read 'confidence' and confidence is always attractive," says NYC-based body language expert Tonya Reiman, author of The Power of Body Language: How to Succeed in Every Business and Social Encounter. "Do this while holding eye contact and smiling and you will easily catch her attention." Just make sure you stand tall and keep the shoulder action subtle. If you saunter too much she'll either think you're injured or some creeper approaching in slow-mo.

2. TALK YOURSELF UP (TACTFULLY).
If you speak a foreign language, surf, or play guitar, you definitely want to let her know. "Skills or talents are super sexy and highlighting them makes you appear more dynamic to her," says San Diego-based dating and relationship coach DeAnna Lorraine. The trick is sliding them into conversation naturally, so you don't come off as awkward—or like you're bragging. Wait for the right opening, and slip it in nonchalantly. She will notice.

3. Speak with a strong, sure voice.
To be clear, we're not telling you to yell at her. But you want to convey outgoing confidence, which won't happen if you talk in a soft, muffled way. To make sure your voice carries, practice talking twice as loud as you think you want to be when you're out with your buddies. And since nerves can sabotage your efforts and make you sound choppy or high-pitched, take some slow, deep breaths before you head out on your date.  "It will relax you and automatically lower the pitch of your voice," Reiman says. Breathe in through your nose for a count of five and exhale through your mouth for a count of five. You should feel your abs move in and out. Repeat 10 times.

4. GIVE HER 100 PERCENT OF YOUR ATTENTION.
When you're with her, try to make her feel like she's the only person in the room. "Even if dishes are breaking and good looking waitresses are walking by, keep your eyes focused on her," says Reiman. Pay close attention to what she tells you and try to ask follow-up questions to show you're interested in what she has to say. She'll feel appreciated, plus the eye contact will work double duty, making her feel more bonded with you.

5.TEASE HER.
Your first instinct may be to hold back and watch what you say as you get to know her, but that can backfire and make you appear dull. So don't be afraid to disagree with her over who should've won the Super Bowl or lightheartedly tease her about her taste in music. Back-and-forth banter may actually help you stomp out any first date tension. "You'll turn the conversation into something playful and flirtatious," says Lorraine. If she's laughing and having fun in a conversation, she'll feel much more relaxed and will more likely be attracted to you.

6. TAKE HER OUT FOR THAI.
If you really want to get her pulse racing, take her out for spicy food. Dishes with a kick, such as those with curry or hot peppers, increase blood flow—as she heats up, she'll associate the rush from the food with spending time with you. There's also something else at play before she even takes the first bite. "Spicy foods spark feelings of danger," says Reiman, "and a slight sense of fear can give her a small shot of adrenaline and build excitement."  Recommend she try a spiced-up entrée and order a hot dipping sauce with an appetizer that you two can share.

7. MAKE FUN OF YOURSELF.
Women love to laugh and always rate a sense of humor at the top of their list, so show her you're easy going by telling a story that highlights a goofy or clumsy moment. Talk about your first time bungee jumping or parasailing, including the part about the rope smacking you in the face or how you stumbled through the landing. "Stories with slight self-deprecation show her that you're comfortable in your own skin and resilient enough to pull out of problematic scenarios with a positive attitude," Reiman says.

HOW TO FIND THE PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN FRIENDS AND RELATIONSHIPS

Starting a new relationship can be such an exciting and wonderful moment. You are filled with happiness and all you want to do is spend your time with your new flame. Whether we like it or not, the relationship will tend to have an effect on our friendships. But the good news is, we do have control over whether this effect will be good or bad.

DON'T NEGLECT YOUR FRIENDS
If you're the type of person who is with their babe 24/7, this could put some tension into your friendships. When we are in deep like, we sometimes forget about everyone else for a while and we focus our time and energy on our significant other.

And our poor friends are usually the ones left in the dust, and they keep the feelings of hurt and rejection to themselves because they don't want to come across as being unhappy for you.

So then the responsibility falls on you to talk to them and ask them if they feel like you've been leaving them out of your life. If you aren't the talking type, then hang out with your friends by doing things you guys enjoy like playing soccer together, going shopping or watching a movie together. Put aside a day or two for them, they'll appreciate it.

Remember that when something goes wrong with your new partnership, it will be your friends who you are likely to go in search of to help you pick up the pieces, create a ready-made social life for you again.

So keep the contact with them going even when you are in the middle of an intense two- some that feels as though it will last forever - chances are that it won't!!
Your true friends will always want the best for you- they'll want you to be happy and they'll also want to be a part of your happiness. So don't leave them out.

HAVE SOME BOUNDARIES WITHIN YOUR RELATIONSHIP
So, your babe has just as much of a hard time being separated from you as you do from them? That's okay. Heck, it's even said that abscence makes the heart grow fonder.

Let your partner know that they aren't the only ones who need attention from you. Discuss how maybe both of you can look after friendships a little, as well as having most of the time you want for each other. If you work it out together and agree on a friends' night or two, you can synchronise the time you spend apart and together.

This way your babe won't get upset when you let them know that you're spending the night or weekend.
Remember, being in a relationship with someone doesn't mean that you have to be joined at the hip, or at least, not all the time! A relationship is like another aspect of your life along side your family, work and friendships.

And although intensity is quite natural early on in a relationship, it can be hard to maintain it, so if you set it as an ongoing expectation in your relationship, it can end up actually being the death of it.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR FRIENDS DON'T LIKE YOUR BABE?
This can be a very tricky and, dare we say, awkward situation for everybody involved! You'll feel like you're in the middle of a very sticky sandwich, trying to keep both sides happy but deep down you just wish they would get along. Too bad we can't control people's' feelings.

So what can you do?
Think about the situation from both sides and really try to get into the shoes of your partner and your friends so that you can better understand them.

Then, speak to both sides, really trying to explain, rather than blame anyone. If there is no real desire to understand the other point of view and they can't try to be cool with each other (even if it's just for you) then let it be their problem. After all, there's only so much one can do.

If they won't want to be around each other, try doing things with them separately.

And lastly, When you are spending a lot of time with your babe, make sure you still keep contact with your friends. This is really important. If you just drop off the map, you can't expect to be straight back on it as soon as things cool down or come to an

4 WAYS TO SHOW HER YOU LOVE HER

It's important to remember that we all express and feel love differently. You might think by calling your partner every night to say goodnight, they'll know that you love them when in fact your partner feels loved and appreciated through gifts. we tend to show love in the ways we would like to receive it, so it's worth watching what your partner does
We tend to show love in the ways we would like to receive it, so it's worth watching your partner's actions and listening to
their words, as this is likely to reflect the kind of things they are looking for from you too.
If you're struggling, then just simply ask your partner to share with you the type of things that make them feel loved. It might
seem like you're taking the easy way out by asking but we're sure they'll appreciate the effort when you start following through especially if you also check out from time to time whether it is working for them too.
There are quite a few options to choose from. You know your partner, pick the one that would appeal most to your partner

1.YOU CAN SHOW YOUR LOVE THROUGH PHYSICAL TOUCH
Scientists say that the skin is the largest organ on the human body. The skin is also very sensitive and filled with feel good
nerve-endings. Physically touching your partner lets them feel the love you have for them.
The love language of physical touch includes things like holding your partner's hand when walking together. If your
partner isn't the PDA type then you can keep the touching private by cuddling while watching a movie or after sex, giving
your partner a warm hug, a brief squeeze of the shoulder or a light touch on your partner's back.

2. SHARE GIFTS
Gifts, caringly given, involve thinking about what the other person likes. With gifts, it's about wanting to make your
partner happy by giving something you know they'll like or find
useful. Since a gift is an expression of love, and not of how much
money you have in the bank, it doesn't even need to be expensive or something bought in the shop, a shell from the
beach or a piece of sea glass cost nothing but can be great and treasured gifts.
Sometimes it's about the thoughtfulness and effort behind the gift. So pay attention when your partner speaks, this is a great
and easy way to pick up cues and get gift ideas. And to make things extra special, don't wait for a special occasion to get a gift. The random and spontaneous gifts are
also just as great and meaningful.
Gifts are symbols of love and appreciation so be creative!

3. HELPING OUT!
You know the saying "actions speak louder than words"? Well this means that sometimes you have to DO things to show
your partner just how much they mean to you.
But the trick here is that you must WANT to do these things freely (not being forced or pressured) because when you love
someone, you're willing to step out of your comfort zone and not do things that are good for the relationship. for the sake of
peace and happiness in the relationship. It's about putting someone else's needs first.
Being of service means:
going the extra mile to help your partner with things like the house chores,
helping and supporting your partner with academic work, taking on your share of the emotional work in the
relationship. Eg. talking about your own emotions and not
bottling them up or being bothered about your partner's feelings.
willingly sharing the responsibility of looking after your children,
helping the other person to complete a project
or doing something which makes their life easier and less stressful
being there for your partner during difficult times like the death of a loved one or when they're struggling to find a job
and holding hope for them when they are finding this
difficult to do for themselves.

4. WORDS OF LOVE
"I appreciate you", "Thanks for helping me out the other day"-
tell your partner how you feel about them and how you feel
about their role in your life. It is more meaningful if you make
your words specific and truthful.
Telling someone they are a great person is one thing, but if
you say to them that you think they are a great person
because they helped you finish an assignment instead of going
out with their friends makes it more real and believable.
If you're the extra creative and romantic type, you can even
explain your words of love in a poem or a song.
Saying "I love you" is really important in a relationship if you
mean it. However, don't overuse it and don't let it become a
habit that has no real meaning. If you say it, mean it and find
ways to show that you do mean it.
These kind and encouraging words can help to build your
partner's self-esteem and let them feel secure in the
relationship, but take it steady and check out with yourself that
you can maintain the expectations you are building up in your
partner.
